AUO Corporation ("AUO" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO) today announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$28.95 billion for August 2016(1) up by 7.9% month-over-month and down by 5.0% year-over-year.

Shipments of large-sized panels(2) for LCD TV, desktop monitor, notebook PC, and other applications totaled nearly 10.38 million units in August 2016, up by 15.0% from the previous month. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments decreased by 5.6% month-over-month to approximately 12.13 million units.
