AUO Corporation ("AUO" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO) today announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$27.48 billion for June 2016(1), up by 2.6% month-over-month and down by 10.1% year-over-year. Consolidated revenues in the second quarter of 2016 were NT$80.09 billion, up by 12.6% from the previous quarter and down by 13.2% year-over-year.

Shipments of large-sized panels(2) for LCD TV, desktop monitor, notebook PC, and other applications were around 10.01 million units in June 2016, up by 5.2% from the previous month. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments exceeded 14.03 million units, down by 5.0% month-over-month.

In the second quarter of 2016, large-sized panel shipments exceeded 28.46 million units, representing an increase of 16.5% quarter-over-quarter and 14.3% year-over-year. Shipments of small-and-medium-sized panels in the same quarter were around 42.50 million units, up by 12.6% quarter-over-quarter and down by 11.5% year-over-year.
